Confederation of Accredited Tour Operators is an umbrella body of Govt. of Kerala-approved tour operators. CATO was founded in 2012 by the Government of Kerala and a group of quality-conscious tour operators. This initiative was part of a mission to find credible partners in catering hospitality services par excellence and thereby promoting tourism in Kerala.
Over the years, the organisation has gathered wide acceptance from domestic as well as international tourism fraternities. In addition to promoting tourism, CATO helps its small and medium members come to the fore,as the association stands for credibility in the tourism sector.
